The Tamarind Centreto provide support to the BME (Black Minority Ethnic) Communities of Coventry in particular African Caribbean and Asian people who are experiencing Mental Ill Health. Heaven Tree Press focussing on artistic expression this Coventry based poetry press has published several works by refugees, ethnic minorities of Coventry and international students. The Centre for Caribbean Studies - University of Warwick for academic research and study in Coventry offering two fellowship awards each year to staff and postdoctoral applicants from the University of the West Indies and the University of Guyana whose work addresses an aspect of Caribbean history, culture or society.
